Bury St Edmunds Food and Drink Festival – Anglim Private Health Preview

Anglim Private Health is a Private GP Surgery in Bury St Edmunds.  Every Thursday Anglim Private Health will post an article about local events or services which are related to health.  Today we preview the upcoming Bury St Edmunds Food and Drink Festival.

Bury St Edmunds has some of the best restaurants in the country and the Food Festival on 27th and 28th August allows you to experience some of the best our town has to offer.  We often feel being healthy is about denying ourselves some of the nicest foods; but high quality, tasty food can always be part of a balanced diet.  While some of the amazing food on offer at Pea Porridge, 1921 and Lark can be rich and indulgent, they can also involve a full of a range of vegetables, high quality seafood and meat and taste just amazing.

For younger members of the family, understanding food, the cooking process and the abundance of flavours that can be achieved from the healthiest foods is an incredibly important life skill. It leads to healthier eating habits throughout our lives. So take the time to prepare amazing food, involve younger members of the family in the cooking process and try to all sit down to have a meal together.

At Anglim Private Health you will have access to a personal GP who will provide personalised advice to improve health.  They will take the time to learn about you, your circumstances and your family’s circumstances and together generate a plan to maintain health.  This will often include advice on diet, exercise and activity.  For those who want to improve fitness and performance we can provide links to local dieticians, nutritionists and personal trainers.  And for those who would benefit from losing weight we can provide weight loss treatments, including new weight loss medications.  Please contact us if you would like to access the benefits of a private GP.

And we hope you all enjoy the food and drink festival.
