Dr Anglim qualified from the prestigious Barts and The London School of Medicine in 2005. He spent his junior doctor years working in London and East Anglia and qualified as a GP in 2011. After a short spell working in Ipswich in 2012 he became a partner at Hadleigh Boxford Group Practice and continues to work as a partner within that NHS GP practice.
Dr Anglim has had over a decade as a Tier 3 GP Trainer within the East of England region and contributed to training both GP trainees and medical students. His clinical interests include heart health, management of complex and newer medications and cancer screening. What he is most passionate about however is holistic and patient centred care. Dr Anglim likes to take time to consider the entire patient story which includes who they are as a person rather than just a list of symptoms. He then generates a range of ideas and takes the time to discuss them in detail, allowing the patient to truly understand and take part in the decision making process.
Dr Anglim has seen a lot of changes within his time as an NHS GP but is frustrated that the limitations within the service often prevent the absolute best care possible. He has setup Anglim Health with the aim of providing the highest quality service. Dr Anglim’s philosophy is to look after an individual or family over an extended period of time which can only be achieved by managing a smaller number of patients.
